Peter McLean

Peter has many years of experience in the full spectrum of teen/adult physical therapy, but finds particular satisfaction in Outpatient Orthopedics & Sports Rehabilitation.
After completion of Pacific University’s PT doctoral program in 2003, he has focused his continuing education on manual therapies such as joint mobilizations, positional release, and myofascial release. As well, he completed all of the coursework specific to Rehab STOTT Pilates.
Above all, Peter enjoys an active partnership with patients – focusing on listening first, and then developing goals that truly speak to the patient’s needs.
“Often, people in pain disconnect from their body-awareness as a means of coping. I am sensitive to helping each patient reconnect with their unique strengths while also working on their challenges – one manageable step at a time – for the best success. Each patient is unique, and their treatments should reflect their individuality”.

He graduated from Macalester College with a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish, so is competent in working with Spanish-speaking patients.

Peter was raised in Eugene, where he enjoyed running track and cross country and playing soccer. In his free time, Peter enjoys gardening and exploring trails with his dogs – even on an Oregon rainy day!
